What’s that coming over the hill

What’s that coming over the hill

Designed in London — Made in Spain — EU Sourced and Produced only

A new Miista decade -  a new Miista venture. Introducing our first ready-to-wear clothing collection launching online early August 2021. Our clothing has the same personality as our ‘Kicks’. We don’t think that following the rules is important. Expect reversed denim, twisted seams, freeform stretch and restricted structure. Continuing to surprise between our pairings of material and design, the pieces follow our commitment to the idea of time and craftsmanship as the ultimate values of a luxury item.

Macrame Test

From our studio in Bethnal Green, we’re side eyeing the fashion industry while kind of loving it too. So, while we critique but j’adore the non-stop world of fashion for fashion’s sake, we do things like take on our own clothing factory (so 1970s, we know), invest in training for a close knit group of artisans, and work with the best creatives in the business.

For us, a luxury fashion item needs to have three things: Use craft methods over technology, be made of the highest quality fabric and take time to make. We believe that the human power of real life artisans simply cannot be replaced by machines. By establishing our own clothing factory in A Coruña, north of Spain, we wish to restore the once thriving production industry of artisan-made ready-to-wear clothing in this region.
