Distressed Leather

This unique finish creates a distressed look to the leather upper before it's been worn. This is a deliberate effect giving an aged and vintage feel and is created by hand - rubbing and brushing off the surface in typically worn areas.

How To Care

Step One

To clean, lightly dampen a microfibre cloth with water and gently wipe away any dirt or dust from the leather surface.

Step two

Ensure the cloth is damp, not wet.

Step Three

If the item has a dégradé effect, apply the cream only to the darker shades, as it can affect the lighter tones.

What to Avoid

Do not use hard cloths, brushes, or abrasives, you’ll risk removing more of the finish than intended.

Do not apply leather creams, balms, or waxes unless specifically made for distressed leather, they may darken or smooth out the original effect.

Do not try to even out tones or textures. They were made to be irregular.
