To achieve this leather finish, we print the desired pattern before embossing it, through a combination of high pressure and heat, on the cow leather. Finally, it's finished with a clear gloss coating to the top layer which, when dried, creates a shiny, reflective surface. This coating means that when cleaning the shoe surface, you are treating the coating, not the underlying leather.
How To Care
Step One
First clean the surface with a soft microfibre cloth to remove any dirt or dust.
Step Two
Apply a thin layer of neutral coloured Nappa leather cream and allow it to air dry completely before wear.
Step Three
Store your footwear, in a padded, dust-bag, out of direct heat or light. Think gallery, not garage.
What to Avoid
Do not use any harsh cloths, brushes, or chemical cleaners. They can damage both the emboss and the patent gloss.
Do not soak the surface. Patent doesn’t play well with too much water.
Do not apply coloured creams, they can distort the printed pattern and build residue.
