This type of cow leather undergoes a finishing process to give a standout shine. By polishing the topcoat, the leather is left with a high gloss finish which is smooth to touch and rich in colour. Unlike untreated leather, you’re caring for the finish, not just the skin underneath.
How To Care
Step One
Start by softly wiping away the excess dirt with a cloth. Avoid any hard brushes, as they could damage the topcoat on the leather.
Step Two
Once the dirt and dust have been removed, use a sponge to apply a hydrating cream made for shiny leathers. Apply a thin layer of cream evenly over your shoes and leave them to dry.
Step Three
Once dry, use a cotton cloth to polish the leather, making sure you move around the shoe in circular motions.
What to Avoid
No hard cloths or bristles as they will scratch the coating. And do not use regular leather creams. They may dull or stain the finish.
Do not get the shoes wet. Damp is fine, dripping is not.
