Pull-up oily leather has a distinctive grainy effect achieved by treating the leather with wax and oil. A unique characteristic of this treatment is that the colour lightens in areas where the leather is stretched. This type of leather is designed to change colour over time, so expect your footwear to develop a unique patina with wear.
Use a soft microfibre cloth to remove any dust.
Apply a colourless oil effect cream to the leather.
Avoid pulling the leather too tightly to prevent unwanted stretching effects.
Do not use water-heavy cleaning or alcohol-based products. You’ll dry out the very oils that make this leather work.
Do not over polish, this isn’t shiny leather. It’s meant to look matte, moody, and organic.
Do not store under heavy objects, pressure can leave permanent marks.
